Legends of Slots
Legends of Slots is a casual arcade-style game about matching symbols on spinning reels. You tap to spin, symbols line up, and you slowly unlock new themed worlds — pirates, deep space, an old library, that sort of thing. It's the kind of game you poke at while waiting for a kettle to boil, and it never asks for more attention than that.
The controls are as simple as it gets: one big tap button, a couple of swipes to switch between worlds, and a settings menu that's actually readable. We liked that the animations can be sped up or turned off entirely, which helps a lot on older phones where the flashy reel spin stutters. Turn that setting off and the whole thing runs smooth.
On battery, it's gentle. A half-hour session barely moved the meter on our test phone, mostly because there's no heavy 3D rendering going on. The art is flat and colorful, the sound effects are cheerful without being annoying, and you can mute everything with one toggle. It won't change your life, but as a low-stress time-filler it does the job.
